Masters of Science in Clinical Nursing
King’s College London has always been my number one choice for nursing. The decision to enrol in King’s MSc in Clinical Nursing programme stemmed from a desire to deepen and enhance my understanding of nursing practice. I learned about the programme through extensive research on reputable institutions offering continuing education programmes for nurses, coupled with recommendations from colleagues within the nursing community.

During the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, my experience at TTSH ED was one of the most challenging yet exhausting periods of my life. Although it was emotionally and physically demanding, it instilled in me a resolute desire to further my studies and practice throughout my nursing career. Engaging with terminally ill and infirm patients led me to ponder on the realities of life. Nurses play an important role in supporting patients and their families during difficult times. Throughout this period, I noticed that my diploma knowledge and experience were insufficient to help me to work efficiently in the ED. This realization drove me to further my knowledge of nursing and skill set at King’s College, a reputable and prestigious university.

Globally, King’s College Nursing degree has consistently been one of the best nursing degrees. Secondly, the duration and flexibility of the class schedule were crucial for me as a full-time nurse working shifts.This programme’s schedule is well developed and organised, such that it allows me to focus on one module each term and with 4 days of face-to-face classes and the flexibility to study at my own pace.I feel glad to be in an environment filled with experienced seniors and peers from different walks of life, in terms of nationality and age. I have the privilege of learning from their journeys in the various nursing disciplines and the events that have fuelled their passion for nursing.
