At The Science Workshop, we believe that every learner has the potential to do better given the right support. We hope to work not just with students, but with parents as well to bring out the best in each child.
Quality Learning
Small group session of maximum 6 students.
In-house learning materials provided.
Transparent fee structure
All our lessons are marked at $240 per month. (based on 4 lessons of 1.5 hours each)
No deposit or materials fee required.
Experienced Tutors
Our Chemistry and Biology lessons are taught by Ms Yeo, an Ex-MOE teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience.
Our Physics lessons are taught by a full time tutor and Ex-MOE teacher.
Founder/ Chemistry and Biology Tutor
My tutoring experience started when I was pursuing my honours degree at the National University of Singapore. The satisfaction of watching my tutees growing in their love and competency in the subject convinced me to join MOE on the Teaching Award.
In my capacity as a MOE teacher for the past 10 years, I was given the opportunity to work with different groups of students and have honed my ability in adapting to the diverse academic needs of our students. Teaching is my passion and I enjoyed myself thoroughly as a secondary school teacher.
At the same time, I would also like to have greater flexibility in terms of working hours so that I could spend more time with my three young kids. They are the reason for The Science Workshop. In the midst of my mothering duties, I hope to continue with my passion in teaching as well.
