Image 12: 🎉 Congratulations on the successful run of the 7th edition of InnovFest Suzhou! 🚀With over 400 attendees, this year’s InnovFest held at NUSRI Suzhou from 18 to 19 November featured two inspiring keynote sessions, six insightful panel discussions with over 30 expert speakers, and an impressive exhibition showcase of close to 40 start-ups from Singapore, China, Chile, Germany, Indonesia, and Thailand as well as from nine Institutes of Higher Learnings and three government agencies. The event was opened by Guest-of-Honour @dramykhor, Senior Minister of State, @motsingapore and @msesingapore. Highlights included the 8th Smart Port Challenge Grand Finals and the MarineTech Start-up Innovation Showcase. Image 14: The CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth (TIG) Collaboration Centre (The Centre) launched the CyberCall 2024 (November edition) at Cybersecurity Innovation Day yesterday, attended by over 500 participants. This is the second CyberCall run this year by The Centre — a joint initiative between @nus_singapore and @csasingapore. The event also celebrated the success of CyberCall 2023, with seven outstanding companies receiving up to S$4 million in funding. 🎉 Congrats to pQCee, Cloudsine, Ensign InfoSecurity, MetaTrust, @st_engineering (Info-Security),@st_engineering IHQ, and Veracity Trust Network! Image 15: Our Technology Transfer and Innovation (TTI) Team was out in full force at last week’s TechInnovation. Themed “Sustainable Urban Living”, this year’s conference saw the participation of over 6000 attendees, and showcased 150 of the latest AI-driven solutions for smart cities, healthcare, and food sustainability over three days. Guest of Honour Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry Ms @lowyenling.sg visited the @nusenterprise booth and met with Prof Chen Tsuhan, our researchers and the TTI team, who shared about the latest NUS innovations including plant-based abalone, the Aloop collection – circular manufacturing with recycled aluminium, and many more. We also welcomed delegates from @osakauniversity to our booth to learn about our newly developed solutions, and how they can deepen collaborations with the @nus_singapore. Thank you to our fantastic TTI team, researchers and supporting partners for making Tech Innovation 2024 a success!
