My main challenge in English was oral, as I lacked the confidence to speak up. This often pulled my overall results down. Seeing this, Teacher Daniel not only provided content sheets for me to study so I had a base for what to study but also answered all of my questions when in doubt.Closer to the O-Levels, he even opened up a separate classroom so that I could practise and record myself in private. That safe starting point helped me build up my confidence gradually. teacher daniel has been really helpful since i joined in june 2024 as he took the time to go through all the components tested for o’s. he also ensured that i understood every lesson and as a result, my english score improved from c6 in sec 3 to a2 for o levels. it was a joy going to class every week! thank you teacher daniel!! :)

Teacher Daniel is a truly no-nonsense teacher who gives clear and accurate feedback on my son’s progress. We had hoped for Hong Ray to approach the PSLE with more consistency, as he had been scoring in the 70+ range in Primary 5. Teacher Daniel’s writing guidance made a clear difference. He helped Hong Ray present his ideas more clearly and stay focused on the theme, which used to be a challenge. Jing Yang’s English results were a real concern in Primary 5 and I was very worried, especially because he struggled to write proper paragraphs. His writing was weak and it showed in his grades.I asked a close friend for a recommendation and he told me his children were learning under Teacher Daniel. I decided to send Jing Yang there as well. At that time, he was scoring around AL6.Teacher Daniel is a very strict teacher, but that was exactly what my boy needed. No playing the fool and no shortcuts. Every mistake came with a correction that required him to write down what to do differently, which helped him to reflect on his work.Over time, the results spoke for themselves. Jing Yang's work became more consistent and his grades started to improve. By PSLE, he achieved an AL3. We were only expecting an AL4, and this was beyond what we hoped for!
My friend recommended me to Teacher Daniel when I was looking for help with my son’s English in Primary 5. Jedidiah had been scoring in the AL6 band and I was quite worried. I was having a hard time finding a an English tutor for my kids. It was the amazing review which led me to Tr Daniel. From the get go, Tr Daniel already showed a different approach to a typical tuition centre. He's passionate, able to perform diagnostic assessment accurately for my child, and had a proposed plan in place to help him. His dedication shone through.My child had been scoring around AL4 back in Primary 5, so our expectation for PSLE was roughly an AL3, of course hoping for AL2. But under Teacher Daniel’s guidance, he not only closed his gaps but exceeded all our expectations and achieved AL1 for English.One of the biggest breakthroughs was Teacher Daniel’s correction method. Every time my child made an error, he had to write down the reason for the mistake and what to do differently next time. This made revision simple and clear because he could immediately see how to improve.Tr Daniel also pushed my child in oral by having him record himself regularly. After my PSLE, I didn’t qualify for Express and entered NA. However, with Teacher Daniel’s guidance and support, I achieved a significant milestone, which was promotion into Express in Sec 2 within less than a year.This transition wasn’t easy. The English syllabus in the Express stream was particularly challenging and I often felt overwhelmed. My son's English at the end of P5 in the end of 2023 was unstable. The main weakness was his composition. Teacher Daniel started by evaluating my son's strengths and weaknesses, then proposed a learning plan.My son started to be more open to learn and he began to improve in his composition. Even his school teacher noticed the positive change within a short 2 months and provided feedback to me.Teacher Daniel helped my son to understand his weaknesses and bad habits in English.One thing to note as well is the oral practice. In school, there weren't many opportunities for my son to practice oral. Teacher Daniel is dedicated to provide feedback to my son's oral and conversation recordings even out of office hours. At the end of Primary 5, I was deeply concerned about Dylan’s English performance.
