Immersive Language Programmes:Our bilingual environment features both English and Mandarin educators throughout the day, making language acquisition natural and spontaneous. We also offer a Japanese programme delivered by our in-house specialist.

ZhongHua Full Mandarin Immersion:This programme has been popular with our EtonHouse families at Zhong Hua, Upper Bukit Timah and City Pre-School. Pre-Nursery and Nursery 1 children at Newton will get to experience a full Mandarin inquiry-based curriculum. Zhonghua Full Mandarin Immersion aims to cultivate fluency in the Chinese language and increase multicultural awareness. Children will build an understanding, acceptance and respect of other languages and cultures while developing knowledge, appreciation and sensitivity to different cultures.

Passionate and Highly Qualified Educators

The only school in Singapore that works directly with the Reggio Children International Network, its educators receive high-quality professional learning on the Reggio Emilia approach. As one of the few education groups in Singapore with a dedicated research and training arm, we also have a dedicated research and training arm that allows our educators to receive ongoing professional development throughout the year and access the resources to continuously improve their curriculum.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum

EtonHouse Newton Pre-School has been an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School since May 2010. We were Singapore’s first stand-alone Pre-school to receive the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) accreditation. We proudly offer a holistic, transdisciplinary curriculum for children from 18 months to 6 years of age. Through our programme of inquiry we foster children’s curiosity and encourage them to be engaged lifelong learners, and confident and capable global citizens.

International Community

We pride ourselves on being a closely-knit international community with families from over 20 countries. Our diverse language programmes and multicultural approach supports children to build understanding, acceptance, and respect for different cultures. Coupled wIth the IB PYP, our holistic curriculum strives on nurturing internationally-minded individuals.

For families who would like to continue to enjoy EtonHouse’s holistic approach to education after Pre-School, we have three Primary Schools across the island including EtonHouse Orchard, which is located in the heart of the city as well.

*Only schools authorised by the IB Organisation can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme (and in addition the IB Career-related Certificate).
